Last Updated : March 2008 The latest Information about Firm FRT This year we delivered a Video Microscope of Firm Q.P.T. made in Germany to a printing machine manufacturer in Japan and were asked whether we can offer him a Thin film measuring equipment. The printing technology is now commonly used not only for printing on a paper but also widely as coating technologies for Liquid Crystal display-, semiconductor-and other-industries. This printer company delivers many printing machines to electric companies in the world. About FRT's Products in Japan We have only few experienced to deliver FRT's standalone MicroProf (with one chromatic sensor) to an electric company in Japan a several years ago. However the trend in technology toward ever smaller electronic devices calls for new approaches in a semiconductor industry too, and the time is coming that we can expand Firm FRT's versatile multisensor platform being capable of combining the most different measurement principles such as optical ones and atomic force microscopy (AFM) in one cost effective and easy to use instrument.We will show you about the latest Information of Firm FRT with our Home Page.

The Semicon Japan 2007 was held from December 5, Wednesday to Deember 7, Friday in 2007 at the Makuhari Messe. We met Mr. Sean Green, Sales manager Asia Pacific of FRT Shanghai Co., Ltd. at the German Pavilion on December 6, 2007. He was trusted with sales business in Asia Pacific by Dr. Thomas Fries, CEO of Firm FRT GmbH. For the idea that we want to introduce new FRT products again to Japanese Manufacturers in Semiconductor industries, he will send the latest materials to us later.He gave us the latest catalogue to us first of all at that time. Last Updated : November 2006 Lecture at the IVAM Forum in japan instead of Dr. Fries, CEO of Firm FRT GmbH 
Dr. Thomas Fries, CEO of Firm FRT GmbH, asked us that we should give a lecture about "Hightech made in Germany, Applications of Micro and nanotechnology from NRW" of the IVAM Forum on November 6, Monday 2006 at Hotel New Ohtani Tokyo. According to him he has no sales agent in Japan now, and decided to give a lecture to the prospective customers in Japan. However he couldn't come to Japan because of the urgent business in the States. First of all we received the copy of the lecture and decided that we would give the lecture acting as a substitute for Dr. Fries. We translated the copy and presented using OHP and showed from the establishment to present of Firm FRT GmbH. We don't know the FRT's present business but we hope that the visitors could get something about FRT. Our lecture belonged to Session 3 "Structuring, Production and Test with Nano Precision" and time was from 15:50 to 16:10. What a coincidence! Mr. Watanabe, Technical Manager of Firm Ulvac-Phi gave the lecture about Nanorobotics from Firm Klocke Nanotechnik. At the evening a party was held at the same hotel and promoted mutual friendship with customers, presenters and people of the organizer.The content of FRT's lecture refers to the following PDF-file. We were not the sales agent of FRT in Japan, so we didn't contact directly. However Firm FRT makes his own way into the semi-conductor industries as the specialist of the surface of all materials. They manufactures now the high-end metrology machines for the semi-conductor industries. The FRT customer groups expand into various business fields. And we hope FRT's prospective futures.The photo shows Dr. Fries, his team and me at FRT booth of the show "Semicon Europe 2006".
Last Updated : June 2005 Translation of FRT's products, news and application Notes On May 24, Tuesday 2005 Firm Correns Corporation, Sole agent in Japan of FRT GmbH, opened the seminar about their impoting measuring instruments at his show room of the German Industry Center in Yokohama. Main objects are the instruments for OKM and Herios from Germany. They made few references about FRT instruments and we realized that we need also information about FRT products, so will decide to translate FRT products which give the interest to the Japanese customers at our risk. At the beginning the the sensors of FRT Instruments are trnaslated.The follwoing items are translated into japanese.
