Selective Laser Melting for Metal Powder SLM 125HL SLM 250HL SLM 280HL SLM 500HL

Only these SLM Machines are sold by Aichi Sangyo Co., Ltd. from 2015 in Japan.

The laser sintering process produces homogenous metal objects directly from 3D-CAD data by selective metal melting with a laser beam.
This very fast and precise process produces layer by layer highly accurate parts of nearly any metal in powder form. Certain ceramics are under preparation as well.
This technology does support the trend to small lot sizes in production as well as "one off"-individual production of parts.

Selective Laser (Metal) Melting SLM 125HL

The new compact Selective Laser Melting System SLM 125HL does produce highly complex metal components using fine metal powders from 3 D CAD-data files. The extremely economical system is suitable for R&D-environment as well as for small lot production areas. The Build Chamber is 125 x 125 x 75 (125) mm. With the patented new bidirectional loader movement the SLM 125HL is becoming the fastest system in its class. Furthermore the system does offer a safe filter system and highly efficient protective gas consumption due to internal recirculation of inert gas at laminar flow.
The system does offer software to process CAD/STL-data files as a standard feature which is also used for slicing and support generation, The open software architecture does enable the user to modify the system parameters according to his production needs.
The SLM 125HL system can process most metals. Stainless Steel, Tool Steel, Cobalt-Chromium, Inconell, Aluminum and Titanium have been processed successfully already.

Selective Laser (Metal) Melting SLM 250HL
The SLM 250HL was integrated in SLM 280HL.

Selective Laser (Metal) Melting SLM 280HL

The generative Selective Laser Melting System 280HL provides a build chamber of 280 x 280 x 350 mm and a unique double beam technology. This will improve not only the laser beam profile but also the quality factor of components. The Build Chamber is 280 x 280 x 350 mm. For the internal optics we use the highest quality level of lenses. The SLM 280HL is equipped with a 400 watts fibre laser and also can be used with a new 1 KW fibre laser. Together with the patented safe filter system, the highly efficient protective gas consumption and patented new bidirectional loader movement, the SLM 280HL does convince with optimal process conditions in a lasting production with highest performance and a consistent building quality. The field-proven, latest software does support a productionoriented data preparation for specific applications and highly optimized building processes.
The SLM 280HL system covers a wide range of metals. Stainless Steel, Tool Steel, Cobalt-Chromium, Super Alloys, Aluminum and Titanium have been processed successfully already. Further available options do increase the versatility and multiple usability of the system.

Selective Laser (Metal) Melting SLM 500HL

Selective Laser (Metal) Melting System 500HL provides a build chamber of 500 x 280 x 325 mm and a unique double beam technology. Each of the two fibre lasers (400 +1000W) operate on the powder bed by a 3D scanning unit. Two of these units are working at the same time. Included in the SLM 500HL is the shell-core-imaging process with two different laser beam profiles. These profiles may be used independently, but also parallel and simultaneously in the process. This will significantly increase productivity.
The transport of metal powder is done by a continuous conveying system due to the increased volumes and weights. This automates the management of powder and eliminates the manual handling of loads with bottles and containers. The time consuming manual input of filling the system no longer applies.
The system does offer the leading software in rapid prototyping, Magic AutoFab, to process CAD/ STL-data files as a standard feature which is also used for slicing and support generation. In addition the software architecture includes modules for monitoring, auditing and quality assessment to exercise optimal quality control in production.

Klocke Nanotechnik : Big Nanomotor delivered to the lab of a major electric company and Nanomanipulator to a university

XYZ Nanomanipulator We have gotten the order of the large Nanomotor with special PID boards to control the Z-axis for his own STM from a major electronic company and delivered in February 2007. The Nanomanipulator is one product of Nanorobotics series developed by Firm Klocke Nanotechnik. A series of the Nanorobotics builds a bridge between nano-technology and the classical mechanical engineering. These products combine the advantages of both technologies: the backlash free movement with resolution of a millionth of a millimeter and the capability of kilograms of load at centimeters stroke. The expansion of the unique Nanorobotics series to a kit with more than 200 components allowed to form several stand alone instruments by configuration instead of development. They are: Dimensional SEM/FIB, e-beam Lithography stages, Wafer Probing Systems, SEM Field-emission, Automatic TEM lamella handling, SPM Lithographer, Microassembly starter kit and so on. Of course these products are used for the other applications. However several turnkey solutions without the delivered papers for new applications were realized - but they are to a certain level confidential.
In Japan the Nanomotors themselves were used at laboratories of government offices and universities for single application combined with electron microscopes except the Nanomanipulators delivered to the Japanese manufactures of the electron microscopes. But this time we delivered the XYZ-Nanomanipulator of the Nanorobotics series to a university in March 2007. We will pay attention to see its application. The 3 each table will be able to assemble a XYZ-Nanomanipulator as the photo of the upper right side.
