For almost 2 decades KAPPA has supplied high-quality CCD cameras for a broad scope of applications with demanding profiles. This time we begin to import their products to Japan.

Development of KAPPA
1978 : KAPPA Messtechnik GmbH was founded in one of the institute of the University Goettingen (Germany). Main activities : Arrangements and Application of the optical principles in geometrical measuring techniques
1985 : The company moved to another location with separate personnel.
1991 : Establishment of KAPPA Opto-Electronic-System Inc. in Los Angeles, USA
1993 : The foundation for the present facilities of the KAPPA enterprise was laid in Klein Lengden, near Goettingen.
1996 : Certification of ISO EN DIN 9001
1997 : KAPPA is getting bigger with 5 Divisions and 65 personnel.
1998 : Certification for the medical technique of DIN EN 46001; Changed name to KAPPA opto-electronics GmbH.

An example of the Video MicroscopeThe camera equipped with a motor zoom lens (54x zoom and 18x optical) combines with a stand and a PC connected only one cable, and this Digital Video Microscope (DVM) offers a monitor display with max. 100x magnification. A proficient display on a monitor replaces the reduced view through oculars and leads to a better ergonomic posture of the viewer.
