Firm Kappa opto-electronics GmbH was founded in one of the institutes of the University of Goettingen, Germnay in 1978. They manufacture CCD digital cameras, CCD video cameras, CCD X-Ray cameras, OEM-cameras, dental camera and other systems using CCD cameras. These several types of cameras are widely used in many fields from industrial imaging to medical- and BIO-imaging. Especially the customer-specific cameras and systems are for forensic applications, law enforcement requirements and defence program.
